This training is for the District Court only.
It is NOT valid for the Bankruptcy Court.

Online E-Filing Training Course
A self-paced online version of the CM/ECF training is available for users with good computer skills. Training is self-paced and you are required to complete an assessment. After viewing the training videos and reading the user guide, most learners find that the training takes approximately three hours to complete.

The online course is self-instructional and completed at a time and place convenient for the participant. No instructor support is available.
- Participants are expected to use their own computer, have Internet access, and be able to create PDF documents.
Once the assessment is completed and approved by the court, applications are typically processed within 3-5 business days of receipt. Once your application is approved you will receive your CM/ECF login ID and password for the District Court, Northern District of Illinois via the email address provided on the registration form.
