Before you proceed with filing into an existing case, refer to the check list below for important information to successfully file your pleadings or documents.
Checklist for Submitting pleadings/documents on an Existing Case
❐ All submissions must be clearly identified with a case number, case caption, and document title. A Pro Se Civil Caption form is available for you to utilize by
clicking here.
❐ Organize your documents. Place all the pages in one document as you want it to appear in a single docket entry. That means the documents are to be in one PDF. Confirm that the documents are in the exact order that you want them to appear on the docket before submitting.
❐ All submissions must be signed and dated. Accepted signatures include an e-signed signature which includes the following formats: s/ [filer's name] or bear a handwritten signature.
❐ Filings must be in PDF format. Pictures/text files (.jpeg, .png., .doc .docx, .txt, etc) or other file types cannot be uploaded to the docket and will not be accepted.
❐ File size may not exceed 35 mb.
❐ Once ready to submit, you may upload each individual PDF file. For example, if you want to file both a motion and an answer, you must upload each document separately by following the prompts in the upload file section of the Pro Se PDF submission page in order for them to appear separately on the docket.
