By direction of the full Court in executive session on Monday, 24 February 1997, Local General Rule 39 was abrogated.
It was further ordered that the order become effective on entry and that no attorney need file an affidavit, a copy of a contingency fee contract, or a closing statement pursuant to Rule 39.and that the Clerk is authorized to destroy any copy of a contingency fee contract or closing statement filed pursuant to local General Rule 39 on or after the seventh anniversary of the date of the filing date of the case in which the copy of the contingency fee agreement or closing statement was filed.
