Rule 17

Rule 17 Oath Of Master, Commissioner, Etc.

Every person appointed master, special master, commissioner, auditor, assessor or appraiser shall before entering upon his/her duties take and subscribe an oath, which, except as otherwise prescribed by statute or rule, shall be to the effect that he/she will faithfully and impartially discharge his/her duties conformably to the order of appointment to the best of his/her ability and understanding. Such oath may be taken before any federal or state officer authorized by federal law to administer oaths, and shall be filed in the office of the clerk.
