Rule 4.02 Forfeiture Of Collateral

A. Posting Collateral In Lieu Of Appearance

Collateral may be posted in lieu of appearance of a defendant charged with committing one of the petty offenses listed in an order entered pursuant to Rule 4.01 of these Rules, in the amount specified in such an order, except where the petty offense involved contributed to an accident which resulted in personal injury or damage to property in excess of $100, or a subsequent offense not arising out of the same facts or sequence of events which resulted in the original offense.
