Rule 3.89 Educational Panels & Consultants

A. Educational Panels

The Court may establish panels of attorneys experienced in the preparation and trial or appeal of the most common types of civil actions involving pro se parties brought before the Court. Such panels, where established, shall conduct educational programs for attorneys in the preparation and trial or appeal of such actions. The clerk shall notify all members of the current Panel whenever such programs are scheduled.

B. Consultants

The clerk is authorized to maintain a list of attorneys experienced in the preparation and trial or appeal of the most common types of civil actions involving pro se parties brought before the Court. Such list shall be available on request to a judge of this Court, a member of the District Performance Assistance Committee, or an attorney appointed under these Rules. The attorneys named on the list may be consulted by attorneys appointed under these Rules.

C. Role of District Performance Assistance Committee

The District Performance Assistance Committee may assist the Court by establishing the educational panels referred to in A above and providing the clerk with names of consultants to be included on the list referred to in B above.
