Rules 2.20 to 2.29 Procedures To Be Used In Filing New Cases
Rule 2.20 Designation Sheet
At the time of filing a case counsel, or if the case is filed pro se, the plaintiff or petitioner, or if the case is filed by a person in custody, the staff law clerk or prisoner correspondence clerk, shall file with the original papers a completed designation sheet. Designation sheets appropriate to the class of cases being filed shall be provided on request by the assignment clerk. Counsel shall indicate on the designation sheet whether or not the case being filed is a refiling of a previously dismissed case.
