RULES 1.00 To 1.09 ORGANIZATION OF THE COURT

Rule 1.00 Definitions

Except as otherwise provided, the following definitions shall apply to the Rules of this Court:

(1) "Judge" shall mean any Judge or Justice authorized to hold court in this District;

(2) "Regular Active Judge" shall mean any district judge appointed to an authorized judgeship in this District who has not taken senior status pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §371(b);

(3) "Clerk" shall mean the duly appointed Clerk of this Court or any deputy clerk designated by him/her to perform services of the general class provided for by the Rules of this Court or by statute;

(4) "Minute Clerk" shall mean the deputy clerk assigned to perform courtroom duties for a particular judge;

(5) "Order" shall include both a memorandum of the determination of a motion signed by a judge and a notation of a motion signed by a judge and a notation entered on a minute slip at the direction of a judge.
