Agreed Motions

If the following motions are uncontested, and are agreed, they need not be noticed up and presented in open court: Motion for Substitution of Counsel; Motion to Add Additional Counsel; Motion to File An Amended Pleading (provided the amended pleading is filed before the expiration date established in the case management order, if any); Motion for an Initial Extension of Time to File Answer; Stipulation to Dismiss; and Motions to Cite Additional Authority.

These motions should contain representation by counsel that the motion is agreed and should be captioned as such. These motions will not require an appearance and need not be set on the motion calendar unless, in the unlikely event, the Court notifies counsel that an appearance is necessary.

These motions should be filed and a proposed order submitted to Proposed_Order_Johnston@ilnd.uscourts.gov.  All other motions must be presented in open court.
