Bankruptcy Appeals

Briefs on appeals from the United States Bankruptcy Court must be filed within 30 days of after the docketing of notice that the record has been transmitted or is available electronically. Any motions to extend time must be filed within the 30-day period. The appellee must file the response brief within 30 days after service of the appellant's brief. The appellant's reply brief is due within 14 days after service of the response brief. Unless leave is granted, principal briefs shall not exceed 35 pages, and reply briefs shall not exceed 15 pages, exclusive of pages containing the table of contents, tables of citations and any addendum containing statutes, rules, regulations, or similar material.
