Motion Practice

Scheduling of Motions



The court hears motions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 A.M..

Motions must be filed with the clerk's office at least three (3) working days prior to the date of the hearing of the motion pursuant to Local Rule 78.1.

Motions for summary judgment and all responsive briefs shall be served (but not filed) according to a service schedule approved by the Court.  Only after the motion and all briefs are exchanged may they be filed with the clerk's office. 

All motions (civil, criminal, uncontested and agreed) are to be noticed for presentment.



Emergency motions shall be presented to the Courtroom Deputy for scheduling.
