Social Security Cases

In cases where the district court has not set a briefing schedule, the following schedule shall apply. Within 60 days after the filing of the certified administrative record, the plaintiff shall file a memorandum in support of a motion for summary judgment (no motion required, see Local Rule 16.4(a)). Within 60 days thereafter, the government shall file its response and/or motion for summary judgment and memorandum in support. The plaintiff’s reply brief is due 14 days thereafter.  Absent leave of Court, all memoranda of law must comply with the 15-page limitation set forth in Local Rule 7.1.
