Instructions for viewing Recent Opinions (Written Opinions):

Step 1: Launch your web browser and type in this address:

https://ecf.ilnd.uscourts.gov/

When you see the ECF Login Page, enter your PACER login ID and password. The client code is optional.

If you do not have a PACER account, please visit PACER center's Web site address at http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/ to create an account. PACER center can also be reached at (800) 676-6856.

Step 2:  After you have logged into the system, click on 'Reports' on the top menu bar as shown below:

Step 3: Underneath the 'Civil and Criminal Reports', click on 'Written Opinions.' There is NO charge for viewing Written Opinions.

Step 4: Type in your search criteria, then click on 'Run Report'.

Step 5: Click on the document number to view the PDF image.

Step 6: Again, there is no charge for viewing written opinions.
