Party and Case Searches

• Through the PACER system you can conduct searches by case number, party name or filing date range.  Docket information is available by case number or filing date for cases filed after September 30, 1990.  Searches may be made by party name for cases filed since the mid 1970's.
  

• Active, Closed and Archived Cases
          Active cases include all civil and criminal cases currently  pending before the court.
          Closed cases are those cases where an order has been entered disposing of the case.
          Archived cases are not found in the court's live database .  This category includes cases that have been closed for more than 2 years and are not on appeal.
